This unique setup extends the range by over 60%, enabling drivers to charge the main battery pack while on the move—making it ideal for long distances.

Cleantron’s CLP modules are a game-changer in battery technology. Weighing just 9 kg and equipped with a blind-mating connector, these portable packs can be swapped effortlessly with one hand. By integrating stationary and removeable batteries, the Phoenix achieves greater sustainability, efficiency, and range flexibility.

Cleantron is proud to support the future of mobility. Phoenix by TU/ecomotive is a great example of this innovation.

Phoenix stands out because its materials can be recycled in a closed loop up to 75%, allowing for recovery and reuse in their original form for new products. The effectiveness of this process comes from using a minimal variety of materials and smart attachment methods that prevent permanent bonding. This helps to extract the materials easily for reuse.

One of the key elements powering this innovative vehicle is Cleantron’s removable and swappable CLP 48V lithium-ion battery module. The team has integrated both fixed and removable batteries into the car. The removable battery packs are designed as range extenders. With a focus on lightweight design, energy efficiency, and ease of integration, the battery aligns perfectly with the vision behind the Phoenix.
