Cleantron develops batteries in compliance with functional safety standards, including IEC 61508, ISO 13849, and, for automotive applications, ISO 26262.
Knowledge is better than confidence. In our laboratory, we perform tests on cells, individual battery modules, battery systems (packs), as well as in-vehicle applications. We conduct tests under various conditions, including temperature, humidity, and mechanical loads, and perform tailored, representative endurance cycle testing.
Cleantron can analyze your battery related problems and develop the most appropriate test for your application. We can have the tests executed in-house or in collaboration with 3rd parties. Cleantron collaborates with numerous Test Institutes and Technical Universities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden.
Upon request, Cleantron can also run a PPAP (Pre-Production Approval Process) for you. By compiling initial statistics, Cleantron can provide insights into the performance and interaction of the battery pack with your product. Insights that you want to have before introducing the product on the market.
Cleantron closely collaborates with DEKRA in Arnhem, the Netherlands, and other certifying bodies in Europe and North America. Depending on the application, usage circumstances, and geographic markets, Cleantron can advise you on various battery certification topics.
Due to our experience and network collaborations, Cleantron can also manage the certification test procedures at the test institute for you.
Most common certifications are:
Cleantron’s development and production processes are certified under ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems). Cleantron is currently applying for IATF 16949 certification.
